Debra J. Fulton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Debra J. Fulton, 71, of East Peoria, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 13, 1950, in Kewanee, to Henry and June (Zagar) Schroeder. She married Daniel Hummer on September 23, 1967; he preceded her in death on May 24, 2018. She is survived by her son, Robin (Tish) Hummer of Chillicothe; her daughter, Dawn (Shawn) Behrends of East Peoria; her sister, Cheryl Groeper of Glendale, AZ; 2 brothers, Robert (Debbie) Schroeder of Pekin and Richard Schroeder of Huntington, WV; 2 grandchildren, Daniel and Amanda Hummer; and 4 great-grandchildren. Debbie loved her wildlife cams from the hippos, osprey, raptors and especially, her eagle nests. She was such a lover of God’s creation. She also took great pride in her flowers. Her yard was beautiful in bloom. She also loved her animals, sharing her home with Buddy, Tigger, Shadow and Mama. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 5-6 p.m. at Gary Deiters Funeral Home & Cremation Services in East Peoria, with a Memorial Service following at 6:00 p.m. Private inurnment will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
