Janet Bishop-Smith, 58 of Peoria, died at 11:25 PM on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Timbercreek Rehab & Health Care in Pekin. She was born on October 20, 1959 in Wichita Falls, TX to Edward and Marie (Valle) Bishop Jr. Janet is survived by 1 son Chad C. Armbuester of East Peoria; her parents Edward and Marie Bishop of Peoria;1 uncle Roy (Debby) Barnett of Peoria; and 2 cousins Paula and Dustin (Kimberly) Barnett of Peoria. She started working as a manager at Domino’s and worked as a manager at Hardee’s, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s and Lums. Janet was a member of Bayview Baptist Church in Washington. Memorial service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, August 4th at Bayview Baptist Church, with a visitation thirty minutes prior. Pastor Keith Thibo will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to Janet’s church.
