Judy A. Blair

Judy A. Blair, 84, of East Peoria, passed away on March 18, 2022, at Saxony Court Senior Living in East Peoria. She was born in Peoria, IL on May 29, 1937, to Henry W. and Dorothy (Kooken) Siwicke. She married David R. Blair in Peoria on August 28, 1965. He survives. Also surviving are her children, David (Jenna Roller) Blair of Deer Creek and Cathy (Chris Tischhauser) Blair of Campbell, CA, one grandson William Tischhauser, her sister, Joan (Tom) Mulherin of Morton, her brother, Jerry Siwicke of Peoria, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved Irish Setter, Bronson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Siwicke. Judy graduated from the Manual High School Class of 1955, then worked as an executive secretary at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 17 years before leaving to raise her family. In 1984, she started working in customer service at RLI and Maui Jim for 28 years, retiring in 2012. Judy was a loving wife and mother, and she especially loved being a grandma to William. She was of the Catholic faith and attended both St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Peoria. She volunteered at Sophia’s Kitchen for several years. Judy enjoyed golf and skiing. She loved to play bridge and was a member of the Alums Bridge Club and received master points. The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Gary Deiters Funeral Home & Cremation Services in East Peoria, with a Memorial Service following at 5:00 pm.
